It’s made from prepared jars or easily accessible ingredients:
Saute together 1 chopped onion + 4 garlic cloves, then add to food processor along with
- 1 jar tomatillo salsa
- 1/3 c. toasted pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 c. 505 green chili salsa
- 1/2 bunch cilantro
- salt to taste
- 1 T honey
- 1 T. cider vinegar
Blend together, adjust seasonings as necessary, simmer briefly to combine flavors..
Serve over shrimp, fish, pork, etc.
We served it with floured and pan sautéed catfish and pan seared polenta.
Definitely a make again…. and often.
Next time with shrimp over pasta. Mmmmm
